Dehradun/IBNS: A massive operation is on since last night to rescue some 39 people believed to be trapped inside a tunnel after a glacier burst in Uttarakhand on Sunday, which caused flash floods leaving 18 dead and over 200 missing.

A collective opposition-backed Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) candidate Tabassum Hasan has upset the BJP in much-talked Uttar Pradesh's Kairana Lok Sabha seat. Hasan is leading by a margin of nearly 40,000 votes in the constituency, which was earlier won by the BJP.
