PLA soldier, who was part of Galwan clash, made Beijing Olympics torchbearer

Beijing/New Delhi/UNI: China deputed a People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldier, who was part of the Chinese contingent that was involved in a bloody skirmish with the Indian Army at the Galwan Valley in June 2020, as a torch bearer at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Torch Relay on Wednesday.

Chinese soldier held on Indian side of the Line of Actual Control

New Delhi: A  Chinese soldier was held by Indian Army personnel on the southern bank of Pangong Tso in Ladakh on Friday, media reports said on Saturday.

New Delhi: A PLA soldier, who was identified as Corporal Wang Ya Long, was apprehended in the Demchok sector of Eastern Ladakh on Monday after he had strayed across the LAC, the Indian Army said.
