Three criminal laws will become effective in India from July 1, as per a notification issued by the Indian government on Saturday (February 24, 2024).
Goa Congress asks govt to withdraw Section 144 of CrPC before IFFI begins
Panaji/UNI: The Goa Congress on Tuesday asked that state government to withdraw Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) imposed in the state before beginning of 50th edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which is expected to bring large number of tourists and delegates.
