New Delhi/IBNS: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday imposed a 24-hour campaign ban on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for allegedly demanding votes on communal ground and directing women to 'gherao' (restrain) the Central armed paramilitary forces (CAPF) during the poll, officials said.
