Centre blocks 18 OTT platforms for obscene content

New Delhi: The Central Government said on Thursday that it has blocked 18 OTT (over-the-top) platforms for obscene and vulgar content after multiple warnings.

New Delhi/IBNS: The Supreme Court of India on Thursday said there should be a screening of video content offered by OTT (Over-the-top) platforms for regulatory mechanisms and added that "even pornographic material is being shown" on some of them.
