The alleged tape quoted the CM saying that from the central force commandant to the Superintendent of Police and the IC, all had to be framed.

While the veracity of the tape is yet to be confirmed, the BJP claimed the CM was trying to foment communal trouble. The Trinamool Congress candidate there was heard admitting that those who died were their partymen.
