TMC workers throng Kolkata's Esplanade area to observer 21 July Martyrs Day

Trinamool Congress supporters in thousands gathered to hear West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday (July 21) observed as a Martyrs Day by the TMC to commemorate the death of 13 Congress workers on this day in 1993 in Kolkata in police firing during a protest march led by the then Congress leader Mamata Banerjee.
