Kolkata's Lake Club hosts vintage car exhibition

Lake Club in Kolkata on Sunday (Jan 28) held a vintage car exhibition where a number of vintage imported cars as well as Made-in-India cars were showcased. The oldest car in the exhibition was a 1913's Stoewer C1. A 1937's Rolls-Royce 25/30, which was once used by India's first President Rajendra Prasad, was spotted in the show. Officials of the 47th All India School Rowing Championship (from left) Lake Club Joint Secretary Debabrata Dutta, former captain of Lake Club Klyan Sarengi, present captain of Boats Somnath Dey, and Joint Convenors of the meet Subhasish Dasgupta and Shakel Ahmed held a press meet at Lake Club here regarding 47th All India School Rowing Championship which will be organised in Lake club between May 5 and 11.
