Rice is not an enemy, eat it to remain healthy: Rujuta Diwekar

Apr 05, 2016, at 02:31 am

Kolkata, April 4 (IBNS): Celebrity fitness expert Rujuta Diwekar, while launching her book The PCOD Thyroid Book, on Saturday at the Starmark lifestyle and bookstore here, said eating rice is not linked to gaining weight if one does some compulsory exercise every day. "While most of us take rice as our enemy and try to eliminate it from our diet chart, it is actually the biggest mistake which we do. We should rather value everything (like rice), that is easily available in local market, instead of chasing after food items, which is difficult to avail and expensive to afford.” The book was launched by lifestyle chain store Starmark in association with Westland at its South City outlet.
