Mohali, Nov 26 (IBNS): On a day dominated by Indian bowlers, Jonny Bairstow (89) emerged as the only saviour for England whose gutsy fighting knock helped England score 268 runs for the loss of eight wickets at the end of the first day of the third Test here on Saturday.
