Pune, June 14 (IBNS): The 'Armageddon' or 'Sudden death' as it is popularly known in chess circles was used to resolve the 3-3 tie in the First Qualifier of the 2nd Johnson Tiles Maharashtra Chess League 2014 wherein a resurgent Thane Combatants edged out Jalgaon Battlers to storm into the final.
