Ranchi, Mar 17 (IBNS) : Helped by a heroic unbeaten knock of 178 by captain Steven Smith and 104 by middle order batsman Glenn Maxwell, who scored his first test ton, Australia scored 451, all out, in their first innings that came to an end shortly after lunch here on Friday.
