Mithali Raj tops ICC Women ODI batting rankings

Dubai, Oct 14 (IBNS): India's Mithali Raj topped the list in the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings released on Tuesday. According to the latest rankings Mithali secured the top position with 735 points followed by C. Edwards and Sarah Taylor (both England) at second and third positions with 723 and 707 points respectively. India's H. Kaur secured the sixth position with 640 points. The bowlers' ranking list is topped by Stafanie Taylor, followed by A. Mohammed (both West Indies). The only Indian who featured in the top-10 is Jhulan Goswami (fourth). But despite individual performances, India slipped to seventh position in team rankings.
