New Delhi/UNI: Scripting history, young Indian pugilist Nitu Ghanghas was crowned as a World Champion for the first time after registering a sensational victory in the finals of the Mahindra IBA Women’s World Boxing Championship at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex here on Saturday.

Birmingham: India is witnessing a gold rush in the ongoing Birmingham CWG as  Boxer Nitu Ghanghas displayed a strong show to beat  England's Demie-Jade Resztan in the final of the women's minimumweight category to grab the yellow medal on Sunday.
