Kolkata/IBNS: Hosts Lake Club performed well to win six of their preliminary round races and were followed by Madras Boat Club and Bengal Rowing Club, both winning five first round races each, on the second day of the 80th ARAE-FEARA Regatta Championship on Rabindra Sarobar Lake in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Kolkata/IBNS: The 80th ARAE-FEARA Regatta Championship got of to a fine start with Vice President of Asian Rowing Federation, Rear Admiral Praparnpongs Pochanasamburana from Thailand declaring the meet open in presence of Lake Club president Tamal Mukherjee, President of West Bengal Rowing Association Subhasish Dasgupta, President of Jury of the meet Sanjerv Gupta and about three hundred oars persons of different age groups at the Lake Club complex on Monday afternoon.
Rowers from Australia, Thailand, India to compete in 80th ARAE-FEARA Regatta in Kolkata's Lake Club
Kolkata/IBNS: Over 300 rowers, both men and women, from different Indian states as well as from Australia and Thailand will participate in the 80th Amateur Rowing Association of the East (ARAE) and Far East Amateur Rowing Association (FEARA) Championship that to be held by the Lake Club in Kolkata's Rabindra Sarovar lake during March 18 to 23.
