The Indian Bengali diaspora in the UK is organising a football tournament called IFA Shield UK, where IFA stands for Indian Fans Alliance, which is accredited by the FA of England on July 9.
London: The age old rivalry of the socio – cultural supremacy of Bangal (Bengalis from undivided India's East Bengal side are called Bangals) or Ghoti (Bengalis from West Bengal are called Ghotis) culminated in a gala football tournament for the 5th edition of Indian Fan’ Alliance (IFA) Shield UK 2022 on July 9 at Slough FC ground, Arbour Park.
