Latin American films win big at Mumbai's LGBTQI film fest KASHISH 2021

Mumbai: The Chilean film Forgotten Roads (by Nicol Ruiz) won the Best Narrative Feature film, the Argentinian film Canela (by Cecilia del Valle) won the Best Documentary film, and young Brazilian trans actress Maria Eduardo Mia won the Best Performance in a Lead Role (for her role in Advent of Mary) at the 12th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, South Asia's biggest LGBTQI film festival.

Mumbai/IBNS: Celebrating its position as South Asia’s biggest LGBTQIA+ film festival, in its 12th edition, KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival has turned the spotlight on LGBTQIA+ films from Asia selecting 39 films from countries like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, Iran, Lebanon, Turkey and Indonesia.

Mumbai/IBNS: The 12th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival which is being organized online this year from Aug 19 to Sept 5, spread over 3 weekends, will screen 221 LGBTQIA+ films from across 53 countries.

Mumbai/IBNS: The 12th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival will be held from May 20th to 30th 2021 online considering the still prevailing pandemic situation.
