Kolkata/IBNS: Actress Sauraseni Maitra received the Best Actress Award and Rishav Ghosh received the Best Director Award for the film Synthetic Sati, in the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2020, in the student film category.

Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali language film Synthetic Sati, produced by Power Publishers & Motion Pictures, is scheduled to be launched at the end of this year, on a popular movie-streaming app.

Synthetic Sati, a film promising visual splendour, good cinematography, strong script, strong performances by Souraseni Maitra, Kheya Chattopadhyay, Prantik Banerjee and Gargee Banerjee, was filmed recently by 19-year-old director Rishav Ghosh supported by a team of young assistant directors.
