New York, Oct 9(Just Earth News): Having seen first-hand the destruction wrought by the recent hurricanes in the Caribbean, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on Saturday called for the full mobilization of the international community to support the people of the affected areas, while stressing the need to accelerate climate action.

New York, Sept 22(Just Earth News): The Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Alphonso Browne, told the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday that after the largest storm ever in the Atlantic Ocean, “the island of Barbuda is decimated; its entire population left homeless; and its buildings reduced to empty shells.”
