More than half of children and youth worldwide 'not learning' – UNESCO

New York, Sept 22(Just Earth News): About 617 million children and adolescents worldwide are not achieving minimum proficiency levels in reading and mathematics, signalling “a learning crisis” that could threaten progress on global development goals, a report from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) shows.
