Washington, May 17 (Sputnik/UNI) More than a dozen US Democratic senators introduced a ban on drilling in the Arctic Ocean to protect ecosystems in the region and the global economy.

Calgary Dec 30 (IBNS): In a recent environment friendly move, US President Barack Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that most of North American Arctic waters would be designated as off-limit for any new exploration including all future oil and gas licensing in Canadian waters, according to media reports.
