US Commerce Dept adds 34 entities to entity list to target enablers of China’s human rights abuses and military modernization

New York: The US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) on Sunday said it added 34 entities, many of which are based in China, to the Entity List for their involvement in, or risk of becoming involved in, activities contrary to the foreign policy and national security interests of the United States.

Washington/Sputnik: The US government placed five Chinese companies on its Entity List that restricts their ability to receive exports, the Commerce Department said in a document.
