Moscow/Sputnik: The International Energy Agency (IEA) in a report on Wednesday slightly upgraded the forecast for world oil demand growth in 2021 by 0.1 million barrels a day (mbd) to 5.5 mbd as the global consumption is driven up by cold weather.

Moscow/Sputnik: The International Energy Agency has maintained its forecast for the global oil demand to decrease by 8.4 million barrels per day in 2020 and to grow by 5.5 million barrels daily in 2021, according to the monthly report issued Wednesday.
