Gambia: Ban calls for release of detained protesters after death of opposition members

New York, Apr 18 (Just Earth News/IBNS): Concerned about the apparent use of excessive force on peaceful demonstrators in Gambia after at least three people died in State custody, United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Sunday called on authorities to immediately and unconditionally release all those arrested during Thursday's protest.
