47 nations voice concern over Beijing's treatment of Uyghurs in Xinjiang
Geneva: As many as 47 countries have voiced concern about China's Uyghur repression and Beijing's abuses in the country’s far-western Xinjiang region.
Washington: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said the US will continue to speak out and promote accountability for Chinese atrocities and human rights abuses, including those in Hong Kong, Xinjiang, and Tibet.
Washington: The U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are issuing a joint advisory urging U.S. companies to monitor their activities in China, particularly in the Xinjiang region, where the Chinese government is harshly repressing its own people and is committing human rights abuses.
