Canada: British Columbia’s program PEERS to benefit more than 300 people at risk of homelessness
Vancouver/IBNS: British Columbia’s Pathways to Engagement and Employment Readiness (PEERS) program, aimed to provide opening alternate routes to employment for people at risk of homelessness, would benefit more than 300 people in the province, an official statement said.

Nov 29 (IBNS): According to a new report “The cost of Poverty†released by a group of social policy experts under the leadership of John Stapleton, shows that poverty in Toronto amounts to an estimated $4.5 billion to $5.5 billion a year.
