Lebanon: Security Council calls for presidential and parliamentary polls by next May

New York, July 23 (Just Earth News): Expressing deep concern over the two-year-long vacancy in the presidency of Lebanon, the United Nations Security Council on Friday urged Lebanese leaders to urgently convene a parliamentary session and called on all parties to negotiate a compromise agreement in order to end the country's political and institutional crisis.
