Mid-year vacations and solo travel picking pace among Indian travellers: OYO
New Delhi, Aug 14 (IBNS): With Independence Day just around the corner, travel enthusiasts are all set to explore India during this year’s break with their loved ones.
According to a recent survey by OYO – South Asia’s largest hotel chain – this year’s Independence season has witnessed an 85% growth in bookings by solo travellers.
Also, Goa has emerged as the top destination for the Independence Day 2018 break. Places such as Goa, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata have topped the list of most-preferred destinations among travellers.
Goa emerged as the top destination among both solo and group travellers as it replaced Delhi which was 2017’s top destination.
