There is also the lovely Ganesh Mandir temple to enjoy. Furthermore, the vast Padam Talao Lake, which is one of the many located in the park, is particularly beautiful when the water lilies are in bloom.

6. The Taj Mahal – Agra – Uttar Pradesh

Once seen, this iconic mausoleum is never forgotten. It is one of the most beautiful buildings on earth. Shah Jahan, a Mughal ruler, built it to honor his wife Mumtaz Mahal, who had died in childbirth.

It is hard to believe that this heart-stopping building was built during the mid-1600s. The design combines Persian, Central Asian, and Islamic architectural traditions and craftsmanship. Surprisingly, the inside is even more stunning than the exterior.

7. The Valley of Flowers – Uttarakhand

This beautiful, Western Himalayan, National Park is best known for its alpine flower meadows. The stunning and unique environment also supports many rare animals, including snow leopards, Asian black bears, and blue sheep.

You can only visit the valley between June and October. The rest of the year, it is covered in snow. Most visitors arrive between mid-July and mid-August when the majority of the flowers are in full bloom.

8. Wayanad – Kerala

This beautifully rich landscape is truly enchanting. The area offers quaint temples, dozens of stunning waterfalls and trails joining numerous viewpoints together.
