Rajasthan is mostly known for its royal history which dates back to as early as 7th century. The state is named as the princely state because many royal dynasties ruled over here and even today, a few of these royal families are still living in the state. This Bramha Temple is located in Pushkar and along with his idol; Goddess Saraswati’s idol too can be seen. Karni Mata Temple, Bikaner

Karni Mata Temple is the reason that why people visit Bikaner and the temple has a unique god to be worshipped. The temple is otherwise known as the rat’s temple and there are over 20,000 rats in the temples that are worshipped and fed by the devotees. The nibbles that are left by the rats after offering them are offered to the devotees as a holy Prasad.

GaltaJi Temple

This is an ancient temple that is situated in KhaniaBalaji Town. The temple is carved out of two rocks and there is a water tank in the temple which is covered and tourists or devotees take a holy dip in the temple to attain salvation. The temple is otherwise known as Monkey Temple as there is a huge population of monkeys. There are many shrines inside the temple like of Balaji or God Sun.

Ambika Mata Temple

Ambika Mata Temple is a famous temple located in Jagat Village, a few km from Udaipur. The temple has Goddess Durga as its main idol and the temple is standing on a rock cleft. The structure features many inscriptions from the ancient times. The temple is looked by the archaeology department. The temple has been named as the Khajuraho of Mewar. The temple is dedicated to Jainism and you can see the inscription of dancers, heaven, musicians and others.
