Hyderabad/Chennai, July 17, 2014 (IBNS): Goa Tourism has receivedtwo back-to-back awards for 'Best Designed stall' at TTF Hyderabad and 'Best Domestic Tourism promotion award' at IITM Chennai recently.
Goa Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar said, “The numbers of tourists from Chennai and Hyderabad have been increasing over the years. We have observed that people come here for a wide range of activities right from lounging at the beaches to indulging in adventure sports and experiencing nature at its best. While we promote Goa as a 365-day destination, we keep tourists’ safety and security as one of our main priorities. The other focus is to promote the Deccenial Exposition of St. Francis Xavier at all travel and tourism fairs.”

The stall was designed in classic Goan architecture depicted the contrasts of Goa in line with Goa’s new brand strategy.

A trade and media evening was also organized at both the cities. A cultural show profiling authentic Goan folk culture was also organized for the invitees, followed by informal interaction between GTDC officials.
