Jordan Tourism Board hosts "Moments of Wellness" Evening in New Delhi
The evening was hosted by Mr. Ahmed Kraishan, Senior Area Market Manager, Jordan Tourism Board, who flew in from Amman, the capital of Jordan and the headquarters of Jordan Tourism Board for the evening. Kraishan asserted the importance of the India market to Jordan; and how JTB’s plans to promote Jordan’s wellness tourism in India.
"Jordan is blessed with natural resources and world-class resorts and amenities, and is the undisputed leader in worldwide wellness tourism. I would like to invite the travelers from India to come to Jordan and visit the Dead Sea for wellness, Wadi Rum for its adventure activities, Petra for culture and history, Aqaba for water sports and the country as a whole for a fun-filled family holiday,” he said.
Guests were greeted with a ‘wellness’ kiosk as they walked in, where they could enjoy Jordan's best-kept sea'cret - the mineral-rich, revitalizing Dead Sea Mud and Salt. As a destination, Jordan has been able to augment its natural therapeutic sites with first class resorts that offer a diverse range of amenities and facilities ideal for a perfect wellness and spa holiday. Then there was a fashion preview by prominent fashion designers – Abdul Halder, Charu Parashar, Namrata Joshipura, Raakesh Agarvwal, & Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna; where models sashayed down in creations specially picked out for the evening from the designers’ collections.
The wellness evening was attended by prominent Page 3 regulars and socialites of Delhi such as Ramola Bachchan, Raakesh Agarvwal, Anand Seth, Thenny Soraya Mejia, Rooma Sekri, Sakshi Bindra, Salloli Kumar, Chand Bakshi, Ritu Sood, Jaspreet Jass Singh, Liza Varma, Ajiesh Oberoi, Sheetal Bardeja, Ambika Suri and Dr. Varun Katyal amongst others.
