Turkish-Dutch airline Corendon to introduce 'adult-only' zone: How will a traveller benefit from it

| @indiablooms | Aug 29, 2023, at 08:44 pm

Turkish-Dutch airline Corendon is introducing a child-free area on its planes, an initiative that promises to help solo travellers.

It is the first European airline service to introduce the facility.

The new “Only Adult” zone will reserve seats for passengers over the age of 16.

The flight in which the facility will be offered will travel from Amsterdam and the Caribbean island of Curaçao in November.

The airline said the zone would be located in the front section of the 432-seat Airbus A350 used on the route, with the 102 seats separated from the rest of the cabin by curtains, reports Stuff.

“Onboard our flights, we always strive to respond to the different needs of our customers,” Corendon founder Atilay Uslu told the news portal.

“We also believe this can have a positive effect on parents travelling with small children. They can enjoy the flight without worrying if their children are making too much noise," Uslu said.

How much do you need to pay to avail the service?

Passengers will need to pay an extra €45 one way to avail of the offer.
