Traditional artifacts draw craft lovers at exhibition in Imphal

Imphal (Manipur), Mar 20 (ANI): Imphal hosted an arts and crafts exhibition for the residents of the border areas. The enthusiastic artisans of the state from farthest corners showcased indigenous and traditional crafts at the exhibition. The exhibition held at newly inaugurated urban ‘Haat’ community market, aimed at promoting the artisans of far flung border areas and giving them exposure in order to initiate the sale of their products to people coming from across the country to visit the celebration of Indian folk craftsmanship. Around 30 stalls have been put up at the exhibition showcasing different handicrafts and items which will be held every 15 days for the local artistes to promote folk art and craft.
