Street dog menace continues, team of scientists, doctors sent in Sitapur

Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh), May 10 (ANI): An 8-year-old child was injured after being attacked by pack of dogs in Sitapur’s Bhagautipur village. The child was later admitted to hospital. Recently, 12 children have lost their lives in the region till date after being attacked by dogs. A team of scientists was sent to look into the matter. Dr. Dinesh Chandra, principal scientist, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, IVRI, said, “We have to see whether the dogs are wild or otherwise. 'We're here to find out how and why did the dogs turn violent & started attacking people'. A team of four scientists have come to look into the matter.”
