Zoo authorities in Ahmedabad install heaters, glass bed to keep animals warm

Ahmedabad, Dec 23 (ANI): As the temperature dips drastically, zoo authorities in Ahmedabad have taken steps to keep the animals warm during teeth-chattering winters. It not only causes problems to humans but animals too. To protect the animals, reptiles and birds from falling sick, the zoo authorities are making special arrangements. Special pots with lights have been installed in cages of snakes. The light in the pots heat them and snakes coil around it. The authorities are always observing old and as well as baby animals so that they don't have any problems. Even in these cold conditions, all the animals are healthy and fit. Special food is being provided to the animals to help them regulate their normal body temperature.
