Firing in Karkardooma court,one policeman killed two others injured

DELHI: A policeman was killed and two others were injured when four men opened fire, allegedly at an undertrial from a rival gang, inside the Karkardooma Court premises in east Delhi today. Three of the shooters were detained but one managed to escape, police said. Head Constable Ram Kumar, who was accompanying undertrial Chenu Phelwan alias Irfan, received three bullet injuries to his head and chest and died on the spot. Over six rounds were fired by the assailants.
