Jamshedpur, Dec 26 (ANI): Jamshedpur Utilities and Services Company (JUSCO) in Jamshedpur have started the construction of roads out of plastic waste. More than 48 to 50 kilometers of road construction in the city has been done with waste plastic. According to JUSCO, waste plastics used in the road construction would help minimize the plastic waste. Managing Director Ashish Mathur said that research was done and it was found that the waste plastic can be utilized in making roads, and hence counters were established for that. The roads constructed out of waste plastics are more durable and long lasting as compared to the general one. He further added that Tata steel had been given the responsibility of Jamshedpur city to JUSCO.
