New Delhi, Dec 30 (ANI): The Indian Navy has successfully carried out the maiden test of the long-range Barak-8 surface-to-air missile from INS Kolkata on Wednesday.Navy PRO, Captain DK Sharma on Wednesday said that Indian Navy has achieved a remarkable landmark in the area of long range missile for the safety of warships.He added that the missile has been jointly developed by the India Navy, DRDO and the Israel's Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure, Elta Systems, Rafael and other companies.
