Government officer caught red-handed while taking bribe

Banda (Uttar Pradesh), May 26 (ANI): The Anti-corruption team caught a government official taking bribe of Rs 1,500 in Sadar Tehsil of Uttar Pradesh’s Banda area. The accused, Pramod Tiwari, was demanding bribe from Mazhar Hussain for issuing a character certificate. Hussain said that Tiwari was demanding money for forwarding his file and out of helplessness he complained to the anti-corruption team. The anti-corruption team has filed a case against Tiwari and he was presented in front of special court in Lucknow.
