J&K Police distribute wheelchairs to specially abled people

Kathua (J&K), May 26 (ANI): The Jammu and Kashmir Police took an initiative and distributed wheelchairs to the specially abled people in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district. The J&K police organised a programme to distribute the wheelchairs to physically challenged people, including women and children. The cops took the initiative under the civic action progarmme. Giving details of the event, Deputy Inspector General of Police Ashkoor Ahmed Wani said this is a part of civic action and whenever they get chance they avail it. One of the beneficiaries named Balak Mehra said he is very thankful to the police. DIG Jammu-Kathua Range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani was the chief guest of the event.
