Ramadan begins with fasting, prayers

Lucnow/Delhi, May 28 (ANI): Muslims on Sunday marked the beginning of the holy Islamic month of Ramadan with prayers at various Masjids across India. In Delhi, hundreds of muslims gathered at the Jama Masjid to commence their month long fasting after relishing the traditional Sehri. In Islamic tradition, Ramadan is a promising month in which Muslims observe a rigorous fast from dawn to dusk everyday and reciting of Holy Quran.
