IIT-Madras students organise beef festival to protest against cattle slaughter ban

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), May 29 (ANI): Students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Madras organised a beef festival on the campus to protest against the Centre's ban on the sale of cows for slaughter. In a video, students inside the college campus can be seen serving beef among the participants. Strong protest was also held across Kerala after the Centre banned cow slaughter and even many people blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to infringe on personal rights of people.
