NGOs, Railway dept. organise event to spread awareness against tobacco

Vadodara (Gujarat), May 31 (ANI): Non-governmental organisations along with Indian Railways organised an event to spread awareness about the ill-effects of Tobacco on 'World no Tobacco day' in Gujarat's Vadodara. The event was organised at Vadodara railway station. Giving details of this event, social worker Suzan Christian said they believed that tobacco is the first step to the world of addiction and minors first try tobacco and get addicted to it. She further added that in a single cigarette there are 40 chemicals which cause cancer in human body. During this event, large sculptures of cigarette with a name 'sticks of death' and banners of disadvantage of tobacco were displayed.
