Rajasthan HC pitches for declaring cow as 'national animal'

Jaipur (Rajasthan), May 31 (ANI): The Rajasthan High Court (HC) on Wednesday pitched for declaring cow as the 'national animal.' The court also said that people who indulge in slaughtering of cows should be sentenced to a punishment not less than imprisonment. The judgment comes in the wake of the Centre putting a ban on the sale of cattle for slaughter.
