New Delhi, May 29 (ANI): The holy month of Ramazan that will see Muslims around the world keeping a dawn-to-dusk fast for the entire month, has begun. Host of B-town celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Randeep Hooda and Riteish Deshmukh took to their Twitter pages to wish everyone on the festival. 'Ramazan', the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims across the globe as the month of fasting. It is believed that on the 27th day of Ramazan, God revealed the Quran (the Holy book of Islam) to the Prophet Mohammed. At the end of the month, Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated to mark the end of the month, based on the visual sightings of the crescent moon.
