Kate has given birth to a baby boy at St Mary's Hospital in London on Monday.

Kensington Palance informed that both the mother and baby are doing well.

The new-born baby is fifth in line for the throne.

Kensington Palace said in a tweet, "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news."

The baby, which weighs 8lbs 7oz, was delivered at 1101 hrs.
