Moscow, Apr 13 (Sputnik/UNI) An unnamed hacker group has breached several websites related to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and published dozens of files containing personal data of thousands of US federal agents and police officers, media reported.

The hackers breached three websites affiliated with the FBI National Academy Association and downloaded the contents of each web server, the TechCrunch online publishing company reported.

They then uploaded the information for download on their own website, which the outlet did not name given the sensitivity of the information stolen.

The data contained some 4,000 unique records, including member names, personal and government email addresses, job titles, postal addresses and phone numbers, according to TechCrunch.

"We hacked more than 1,000 sites. Now we are structuring all the data, and soon they will be sold. I think something else will publish from the list of hacked government sites," the hacker told the media outlet.

The hacker also claimed to have "over a million data" related to employees of several US federal agencies and public service organizations.
