Turkey's Erdogan condemns deadly attacks in Sri Lanka

Ankara, Apr 21 (Xinhua/UNI) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday condemned multiple bomb attacks in Sri Lanka that killed at least 185 people and injured hundreds.

"I condemn in the strongest terms possible the Easter terror attacks in Sri Lanka. This is an assault on all of humanity," Erdogan said in his Twitter.


The Turkish leader called for "a decisive fight against all kinds of terrorism."


Erdogan offered his condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Sri Lanka.


Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also condemned the deadly attacks "targeting innocent people" during Easter.


Ibrahim Kalin, presidential spokesperson, expressed his condolences to the wounded and condemned the attacks.


Multiple explosions hit churches and hotels in Sri Lanka on Sunday leaving at least 185 dead and more than 400 injured. There has been no claim of responsibility so far for the multiple blasts.
