London, July 23 (IBNS): Boris Johnson, who had once served as the foreign secretary of the country, will be the next PM of the UK.
Johnson defeated Jeremy Hunt in his race to be the Conservative party leader and will now take charge as the PM.
Boris Johnson won the contest in resounding fashion, earning 92,153 votes to Jeremy Hunt’s 46,656, reported CNN.

Outgoing UK PM Theresa May congratulated Boris and tweeted: "Many congratulations to @BorisJohnson on being elected leader of@Conservatives- we now need to work together to deliver a Brexit that works for the whole UK and to keep Jeremy Corbyn out of government. May will leave the office on Wednesday.
